Contemporary Artist
Hello, and thank you for visiting. I’m Diana Savostaite, a contemporary painter based in London. My work explores materials, textures, forms, and gestures.
I work with oil paint and mixed media, creating large, shaped, multi‑piece canvases that come together in dynamic compositions. I’m fascinated by the ways painting can interact with space - how it can shift, respond, and transform its surroundings.
Recently, I’ve been incorporating materials such as rust, cut‑out wood elements, found branches, and embroidery. These elements carry traces of memory and place, weaving in subtle references to my Lithuanian heritage.
Everything I make begins with a curiosity to observe, explore, and experiment, and it evolves through the process. I hope you enjoy exploring the work.
Art in Interiors - Creating Atmosphere and Impact
Art is more than decoration - it shapes the mood, presence, and personality of a space. Whether in a corporate environment or a private home, I create statement pieces that do more than simply fill a wall - they become part of the space’s story.
I combine creativity and craftsmanship with a collaborative approach, working flexibly with interior designers, architects, and high‑end clients to deliver ambitious projects. My work has been commissioned, sold, and leased to luxury developers, prestigious hotels, corporate offices, and private homes in London, the US, and beyond. I have also collaborated with leading art consultancies, design firms, and charities including Artiq, Hypha Curates, Saatchi Art, Industville, Mall Galleries, Loca Art, and Art for Charity Collective.
Selected highlights include:
Mall Galleries x Chaucer Group - several large paintings acquired for the permanent corporate collection at the international company’s London headquarters, housed in the iconic skyscraper, The Scalpel. Curated by Addi Aegisdottir and Mall Galleries Consultancy.
Forest - a large shaped painting installed in the entrance hall of the five‑star Town Hall Hotel, curated by Loca Art.
Commissions, sales, and leases through Artiq and Saatchi Art, including features in curated collections worldwide.
Exhibited and sold work at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition on multiple occasions.
My large, shaped paintings are created to transform spaces into immersive worlds of texture, scale, and meaning - works of art that inspire, provoke thought, and leave a lasting impression.
Take your time, explore the collection, and see what speaks to you.
